Is the area of the mold backing plate too small to effectively cover enough magnetic poles, which will affect the adsorption force?
When the area of the mold backplate is too small to effectively cover enough magnetic poles, the adsorption force provided by the magnetic template will also decrease as the contact area shrinks. In cases where the injection molding machine has a large mold opening and cavity resistance, it is easy to cause detachment. It is recommended to increase the size of the mold backplate or replace the small mold with a suitable injection molding machine.
Can large molds be suctioned?
The magnetic template uses high magnetic energy product rare earth permanent magnet material - neodymium iron boron, which is the latest result in the development of rare earth permanent magnet materials and is known as the "king of magnets" due to its excellent magnetic properties. Neodymium iron boron magnetic materials are alloys of neodymium, iron oxide, and others, also known as magnetic steel. Neodymium iron boron has extremely high magnetic energy and coercivity. The design of the magnetic template allows a single template to bear the weight of the entire set of molds. Even large automotive bumper molds weighing 30-45 tons can be easily clamped and used on the magnetic template.

Absolutely, the magnetic template uses a special waterproof and corrosion-resistant coating for the internal magnetic materials. All internal coils are manufactured using an independent pre-packaging process. The back of the magnetic template has a fully enclosed structure, and the front is filled with multiple layers of gel according to the IPX4 waterproof standard. This ensures that the insulation of the magnetic template remains normal for a lifetime.
Will high temperature in the injection molding machine cause a decrease in suction power?
The magnetic materials that make up the magnetic templates have undergone strict temperature resistance screening and testing, making them suitable for the production of plastic products. When the temperature of the mold backing plate exceeds 120 degrees Celsius, it can lead to a decrease in the adsorption force of the magnetic template on the mold. Our magnetic templates are equipped with a high-temperature alarm value; when a temperature alarm occurs, it is necessary to insulate the mold backing plate to prevent a decrease in adsorption force. Special customizations can achieve a working temperature of 200 degrees.
Can the mold with the added insulation panel be used?
After installing the electromagnetic quick mold change magnetic template, most molds can be used directly. However, for irregular and asymmetric molds, it is necessary to consult the manufacturer for evaluation before use. Additionally, molds that have heat insulation plates cannot directly use the magnetic template system. Generally, the materials used to make mold heat insulation plates are non-ferromagnetic materials with poor thermal conductivity, so they cannot be used directly. However, it is completely acceptable to install the heat insulation plate between the magnetic template and the injection molding machine wall.
Is the real-time monitoring and downtime system reliable?
The electric permanent magnet quick mold change system uses the Euro standard EuroMap 70.0 or 70.1 interface, which has a tight and reliable logical relationship and is widely used in quick mold change equipment.
Is magnetism harmful to the human body?
After the magnetic template is energized, there will be a magnetic field present at the working surface, which is a permanent magnetic field rather than an electromagnetic field, posing minimal harm to the normal human body. The radiation space of the magnetic lines is also limited to a few dozen millimeters. Individuals with implanted medical devices should consult a doctor. Additionally, the magnetic template will exert attraction on ferromagnetic materials such as hammers, wrenches, and watches, and it is strictly prohibited to bring credit cards, ID cards, etc., close to it to avoid demagnetization.
